
Cameron Jamie (born 1969) is a California born, Paris based artist who examines European and American societies through their ritualistic practices and the myth and fantasy in everyday life. His broad oeuvre includes film, performance, photography, printmaking, drawing and sculpture.
Jamie’s work was included in the 2019 Venice Biennale, May You Live In Interesting Times, curated by Ralph Rugoff . In 2016 he was awarded the Guerlain Art Foundation Prize for Drawing and in 2008 he received the First Annual Yanghyun Prize from the Yanghun Foundation in Seoul, South Korea. His work has been the subject of solo exhibitions at several institutions including Kunsthalle Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland; Musée Beaux Arts, Nantes, France; Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, France.
Cameron Jamie has been making monotypes as Two Palms since 2017.
